A floor light, not a glass atrium
These are refined cutouts — often around a metre by two metres — that feel like a large skylight through the floor, finished flush with the surrounding surface.
We survey the structural opening, coordinate with your engineer or builder on support, and specify laminated walk-on glass with a discrete edge detail that meets timber, tile, or stone cleanly.
This is not a full glass floor spanning a room. It is a carefully proportioned floor light — typically in the region of 1m × 2m — that draws daylight upward while keeping the finish calm and continuous underfoot. Our glass flooring is engineered for load, slip performance, and a seamless abutment with the floor around it.
